The Cleveland Cavaliers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as an American professional basketball team member of the Eastern Conference Central Division. In 1994 the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is the multi-purpose arena where the Cavaliers play their home games, and the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) also use the stadium for their own purposes. After losing the first 15 games, the NBA basketball team won their first Central Division in 1976 which also mark the first winning year and playoff appearance in the franchise’s history. In 1983 Gordon Gund and George purchased the franchise. The Cavaliers were led by Brad Daugherty, and Mark Price and played Eastern Conference Finals in 1992.

In the 2003 draft, Cleveland was awarded the top overall pick, and they selected LeBron James, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas carried on again a regular playoff contender by 2005. And made history first time won the Eastern Conference championship in 2007. LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014 as a result Cavaliers won their first NBA Championship defeating Golden State Warriors 3–1 in 2016.
