2024 BAL Season date, time, and schedule
The NBA and FIBA designed the Basketball Africa League in 2019. Publicly known as BAL, the first season was held in 2021. The 2024 BAL competition includes 12 clubs from African countries, all teams divided into three phases Kalahari Conference, Nile Conference, and Sahara Conference. Each Conference has four teams, who will play 12 games this season. The top eight teams determine the single-elimination playoff round with seeding
- Kalahari Conference: Cape Town Tigers, FUS Rabat, Petro de Luanda, Dynamo
- Nile Conference: Al Ahly, Al Ahly Benghazi, City Oilers, Bangui Sporting Club
- Sahara Conference: AS Douanes, APR, US Monastir, Rivers Hoopers
2024 Basketball Africa League Key Dates:
- Kalahari Conference: March 9 -17, 2024
- Nile Conference: March 19 to April 17, 2024
- Sahara Conference: May 4-12, 2024
- Seeding games: May 24 to June 1, 2024
When does the Basketball Africa League 2024 start?
The fourth BAL tournament games began on Saturday, March 9, at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa and the final championship game will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
