2024 March Madness Bracket, how does it work
The 68 teams will finally qualify for the 2024 March Madness single-elimination tournament to determine the 2024 college basketball national champion game on April 8. However, here is everything about how the College basketball bracket works below.
The 2024 March Madness begins with the First Four rounds after that First/Second Rounds begin. After that Regional semifinals called Sweet Sixteen began. The Regional finals called Elite Eight begin after the National semifinals popularly known as the final four and the tournament ends with a National Championship game.
A total of 68 teams play in single-elimination 32 teams win their conference tournaments and qualify through automatic bids. NCAA Selection Committee selects 36 teams via at-large bids on 12 March (Selection Sunday) seeding between 1-68 teams.
The 2024 NCAA March Madness is the 85th edition of the Men’s Basketball tournament beginning on Tue, March 19, and ending on Mon, April 8, 2023. The 8 teams (four lowest seed automatic qualifiers and four lowest seed play at-large teams). The 2024 March Madness games winners will advance to the official bracket of the tournament.
